Settle Your Skin

Calm and nourish irritated skin

Sometimes your skin needs a little extra care.

No matter how good you treat it you'll get a breakout, or you change seasons, or you're sick, and it gets irritated and sensitive. At times like this, you can be tempted to use stronger products, but we believe in being kind to your skin.

Nourish it with fully active and potent products that deliver calming, soothing and regenerative ingredients deep within. Do this ritual once a week as a treatment, when you travel, and whenever you need some extra TLC

Ideal for most skin types, including acne-prone and combination skin

The Ritual

Step 1: Cleanse

_____________

Ubtan

Pour a teaspoon of Ubtan into your palm and add just under a teaspoon of water, mixing as you go. Use Gulab Jal instead of water if you have it, as it will tone and calm your skin. The Ubtan will become a mousse, and you can massage it gently over your face, neck and décolleté.

Ubtan micro-exfoliates without irritating skin, while delivering potent Ayurvedic herbs and active Vitamin C.

Leave it on as a masque if you have the time, letting the actives sink in.

You can add a few drops of Soma Face Oil along with water for some extra nourishment when you make your masque.

_____________

When to do it

Use Ubtan anytime of day, morning or evening. This skincare ritual works well as a relaxing treatment in the bath if you have the time.

Step 2: Treat

_____________

Apas Serum

While your skin is still damp, smooth a pump of Apas Serum over your face, neck and décolleté. It will cool and calm your skin.

Apas has a Rose Otto Hydrosol base, which is a natural astringent and toner. The actives in Apas (Niacinamide, Resveratrol and Hyaluronic Acid) address skin tone, cellular damage and deep hydration.

You can also spritz some Gulab Jal before or after applying Apas for extra moisture and cooling effects.

_____________

When to do it

Use Apas morning or night (ideally both). If you use it during the day, it'll help with moisture loss from air conditioning, heaters and sun.

Step 3: Protect

_____________

Maya Treatment Balm

Take a pea-sized amount of Maya and massage it into your damp skin. Be gentle, and focus on areas that might need some extra love - where you have blackheads, spots, dry patches.

Give yourself a face massage as you work Maya into your skin, breathing deeply and inhaling the scent. The potent blend of oils creates a unique, slightly sweet and herbal fragrance.

Maya will lock in the water-based moisture of Apas and leave your skin with a soft yet strong protective barrier.

Use a face tool (like a gua sha tool or roller) for some extra relaxation.

_____________

When to do it

You can use Maya in the day or night as it absorbs fully into skin. Using it before bed can be part of a relaxing night-time routine.
