Maya Treatment Balm

Maya has many meanings - magic; illusion; and the extraordinary power to turn an idea into reality. Like magic, Maya's unique combination of oils, waxes and butters will reveal the radiance within your skin.

Maya's blend of essential oils and absolutes result in a distinct scent, addictive and sweet. Massaging this rich balm into your skin is a beautiful multi-sensory experience, truly transformative.

Maya: cosmic magic, illusion

Maya is an amazing tonic for stressed skin. Use it every day, once a week, or as a spot treatment as needed. Take a pea-sized amount and gently massage into damp skin. Inhale the scent and relax.

• Focus on areas that need some extra attention - breakouts, scars, drier patches.

• Mix a few drops of Soma Face Oil with Maya in your palm, and massage into your skin.

• Massage Maya over your entire face or as a spot treatment as needed.

• Maya can be used in the day, as it absorbs fully into skin, or at night as a leave-on treatment.

• Use it when you travel on flights, change climates or have breakouts.

Do I need a lotion if I use Maya?

No, you don't need a lotion. Lotions and moisturisers are emulsions of water and oil. We use water-based products for Step 2: Treat and oil-based products for Step 3: Treat in our 3 Step Skincare System. This means the products are fully active and potent, with no fillers. It also means you're basically creating an emulsion on your skin, when you massage Soma Face Oil or Maya into damp skin.

My Maya melted/hardened. What do I do?

Not a problem, it's easy to re-set your Maya Treatment Balm. Place the jar in a hot water bath and allow it to fully melt. Give it a stir and let it sit at room temperature or place it in the fridge to re-set.

What does Maya feel like?

It's a rich balm that has a velvety, rather than greasy feel. It absorbs best into warm skin, and leaves it feeling soft and supple. The scent is sweet and slightly medicinal, even addictive.
