How-to
Shiva gently pulls you into a more reflective, meditative state. Grounding, with a deep bass energy, yet expansive. Use Shiva when you want to connect to the ground beneath your feet, as well as the skies above.
Light the Shiva Candle and place it on a heatproof surface. Allow the top surface of the candle to melt each time you use it to ensure even burning. Trim the wick before each use.

Copper
Copper use in India dates back to the Indus Valley Civilisation, around four thousand years ago, when it was used to make bangles, rings, weapons and tools. During Vedic times, it was also used for water purification and health benefits, a practice which continues through Ayurveda today.
Guna's candles are poured in bowls made from hand-beaten copper. A natural patina appears over time, developing character as it ages. The inside of the bowls are high-grade stainless steel, ensuring the copper doesn't become too hot as you burn the candle. You can re-use these bowls as serving-ware, decorate bowls, or to mix skincare products like Ubtan and the Vajara Scrub.

My candle has a frosty surface. What is that?
Sometimes candles solidify with a frosty looking surface. This is not a defect and doesn't impact the performance or scent of your candle.
This can happen because we use 100% natural ingredients, no stabilisers or setting agents. Small variations in each candle are a sign that your product is made by hand, using ingredients that are as close to the source as possible.
